Embassy Review : When we arrived there was a group of people inside the door, trying to figure out where they were supposed to go. None spoke a word of English and the Security lady didn't speak Spanish so we had to wait for everything to get interpreted so they could find out they needed to be in another building.
After that we moved on to the male Security officer, an older and grumbly guy who didn't smile and wasn't friendly at all. He even went to talk to someone else while we were tying to get checked in, instructing my husband to sign a register for Visitors. I went to sign it, thinking since I was a visitor as well, but then the security guy stopped talking to the other person off to the side and barked at me that I wasn't supposed to sign it, only my husband. Sheesh. He got up on the wrong side of the bed that day!
We went in and sat for about 15 mins or so as we'd arrived early. We were finally called by our O... read complete review

We arrived about 30 minutes early for our appointment for the green card interview. We were called back about 15 minutes after our appointment time. There was some more waiting after we were called in, in a separate waiting area. The interview itself was short. She asked us about how/when we met. The only additional documentation she needed was a copy of our new lease (we had moved since filing) and copies of some of our wedding pictures. She approved the application on the spot, canceled all of my husband's visas in his passport, and stamped it with a 90 day stamp that says he is a permanent resident and eligible for employment. His green card was ordered right away as well. It arrived 15 days later.

The interview was at 2:30 pm. We had two binders full of evidence. Interviewer number 8 came down and we followed him to his office. We were sworn in and then he verified our names, address, and marriage information. He asked us how we met. Then he asked for evidence that supported our marriage. We him bank statements, medical insurance, title of truck, SSN number, and dental insurance. He siad that was enough and told us we were approved. He then went through the file and made some checks and then stamped her passport. He then escorted us out. The whole process took less then 20 minutes.
