Ok so we had our AOS interview today
Arrived about twenty minutes before our interview was scheduled and waited to be called, about 5 minutes after our scheduled time we were called in for our interview and escorted to the room.
Out interviewer introduced himself and asked if we had a lawyer, we didn’t; he then asked us to raise our right hands and swear under oath that what we said was true, and took my fingerprints and picture,
First thing he said was we had shots ourselves in the foot two times - not a promising start, he then spent 5/10 minutes talking about intent - we married Oct 2016, I went back home to the UK and came back to the USA in June 2017 for 10 days - as it happens I didn’t go back as my husband asked me to stay and do AOS.
Anyhow after explaining that people used to be deported for that kind of thing he said something like, we can work with that. He then asked me a few questions from our I-485 he confirme... read complete review

Hi everyone,
My USCIS field office is also SLC and I had my interview today. I applied in March 19 and on June 6 I got a notice saying that my interview was ready to be schedule. I also applied from a student visa. I got my EAD (didn't apply for parole/travel permit in March), on September. But since I wanted to travel next year and the process is taking so long, I also applied for the advance parole/travel permit on August 6. Last week of November i got a letter with my interview date (today 12/11). I only had a week and a half to prepare everything, but it was plenty of time. I went to the interview today and it took about 30 minutes. The officer was nice. Asked us to swear to tell the whole truth, took a picture and got my fingerprints. Explained how the interview was going to be and started going over the form i-485... he asked EVERYTHING that was in that form and made me sign at the end. After that he asked how we meet, how we got engaged and when he met my parents.... read complete review

Went in to get an I551 stamp as our ROC application is taking over a year. This is our first time at the office for a visit besides biometrics so we weren't really sure what to do. We sat down with our appointment printout and waited. Then another person that had just got done with an officer walked past and saw us with our letter and kindly told us we need to put it in the slot. I thought it was all electronic (as we made an appointment online). So when you get there, don't forget to put your appointment printout in the slot to the far right of the office stalls!!
Officer seemed to know what he was doing and aware of the backlog at CSC and we walked out with our stamp.

Showed up 45 minutes prior to our scheduled time. Didn't get called back until 45 minutes after the scheduled time. We waited for an hour and a half. Interviewer was very professional, did his best to help us relax.
