Review Topic: Adjustment of Status

My hubby and I got there at 9:30, and we were interview in 1 hour. An old lady called us in, oath first, then asked us a few questions, like when did you meet each other, what's your job and what you doing at home..... my husband did a good job today, he talked more than i thought. haha. then something like have you been....,of course no. snow storm since last night, but we didn't get any email or phone call. when we got there, there were a lot applicants coming, and most of us were not informed. Now we called USCIS service center, they just say new interview might be scheduled on 18th, Mar, and blah blah blah. we called the center 4 times, and everytime we got answers with a bit difference.

Arrived on time but the waiting room was very busy. We were called about 25 mins after our appointment time. Our interviewer was an amiable young man. We made an effort to dress nicely.

We went through every field on every form, and it turns out that we both got our SSNs wrong on one form but correct on the other. He wasn't too worried. He made a lot of notes on the form (such as people I was sharing a house with before I bought my current house - and before I got together with my husband). He also asked for more information about the clubs I belong to.

He also asked us about how we met, where we were living at the time, and our first date. He asked about our ceremony and reception, as well as information about when and how I last entered the country. I got a bit confused because I travel internationally several times a year, and some of the questions ma... read complete review
