Interviewer was an individual with a tick Asian accent. He went through the questions on the N400 one by one. Things he asked SEVERAL times (same questions), not sure why. Also asked questions about how I met my husband (and then checked if my answer matched what is in my file! - I think the letter we needed to write for the K1 visa; I don't remember). I thought it was weird because actually I was a permanent resident well over 5 years so I didn't need to file on grounds of marriage (but I checked that box anyway). Unfortunately, once I filed state taxes late (years late) so he asked A LOT of questions about that too!
I personally thought it was just too much.

My husband had his naturalization interview and test today (he passed). He was interviewed by a nice officer who he said was very friendly and organized. He said that the officer seemed to have reviewed his file(s) in detail before the interview as he was familiar with many things in it. The interview started on time and lasted about 20 minutes including the testing and document review.
We feel lucky to live here in MN, all of our experiences have been very smooth at this office.

We had our AOS interview on May 08, 2009 at 2:00 PM and my wife was told by the officer that she intended to approve her after reviewing the file one more time to make sure all the paperwork is there.
Here is our experience:
We reached St. Paul USCIS office around 1:25 PM with our two kids. Security check was easy as opposed to what I was expecting considering two little kids. We were told to go to the 3rd floor for interview and we did just that. We gave our interview notification to the receptionist, who told us to go and sit in the waiting area. We were pleasantly surprised as we walked into the waiting area and saw just one couple ahead of us. There was literally nobody in waiting area - not sure if it was Friday afternoon effect or something else. The couple ahead of us was called in as we were settling down with our kids in the waiting area. They were called in by a very nice and smiling officer. We did not why, but that smiling officer made us a lit... read complete review
