The Immigration Officer was very nice, friendly and helpful. After asking us the interview questions he informed us on when, where and what to file for the lifting of resident conditions. He also said that he did not find any problem with our documents and he would just wait for the documents to arrive from Manila before he could stamp the approval. It was a super smooth fast experience.

5/26/2009 AOS Interview
There was a long wait today because they were short staffed after the holiday. Our appointment was at 10:15, but we didn't get called in until about 10:45. We spent about 10-15 minutes being interviewed.
We left the interview letter in the window and waited with about 30 other people in the waiting room.
We were called back by a middle aged Asian woman who was very nice.
My husband is ok with his English but still learning. She said that she would talk slowly and if he needed help, that I could translate. We did not need to bring a translator.
She took us to her office and had us swear to tell the truth.
She asked to see our IDs. I had made copies of our IDs and she seemed to appreciate that she didn't have to make a copy.
She asked me how we met.
She took out the I-485 and read the information to my husband asking him to confirm. (name, addr... read complete review

We had our interview today and our case was APPROVED! It was fairly easy and straight forward interview.
