It took maybe 5 mins. I was asked basic questions about my data that I put in i-485 petition (my full name, dob and names of my parents). We were informed that we are will be approved as soon as I send them my updated vaccination card. No problems at all again

We had a lady interviewing us for the marriage green card application. The beginning was kinda tough because I forgot to bring my older passport (from Hong Kong) which had the J-1 visa in 2003 and no photo copies to verify that. Then we lacked the prove that we have a joint account (even the bank manager had written a letter for us), and that we live together (with a notarized letter from my mother-in-law). Then she asked if we have any other doc to prove our marriage was good, we just gave her our marriage license, copies of our emails, valentines day cards, birthday card, wedding announcement, tons of engagement/ wedding pictures. She asked us how we met and all, then verifying the questions that we answered on the application. She then told us that she will approve us (what a relief!).

Our interview was at 0830am. Very early. We were there sitting and waiting with our lawyer at around 0800am. We had gone through security and the sort, so we were on time. At about 0803, our ticket number is called and then a lady walks towards us and leads us to her office. She asks for our ID's, SS card, I-20's (F-1 student) and my EAD card. We gave all of that to her and then she swore us in and then we started the interview. She didn't smile and she wasn't friendly either. Anyways, she asked the I-485 questions, my name, DOB, address and then she asks how we met, where did we meet, how many times we saw each other (cos we lived in different states) etc. She then asked for our evidence and we presented it to her. We had life insurance polices, emails and cards we sent to each other, utility bills, flight itineries, joint bank account statements, affidavits, joint credit cards we had, etc. Apparently she wasn't satisfied with what we had and she frowned and then took our evidence and... read complete review

I had a walk-in biometrics done cos i didn't feel like waiting two weeks. They were so friendly. I had a small blade in my purse and the security guards were joking around saying 'i shouldn't be going around cutting people' LOL. I totally forgot it was even there. Was in and out in 20mins. Great experience!
