Apt was at 12:30; got there at 12:25.
Went through a security checkpoint (metal detector and bag scan).
A lady checked our form over VC and assigned us to an interview room.
Waited for 10 mins in the interview room, before the interviewer appeared on the VC (on iPad).
He said he would need another 10 mins to go through our case.
After reviewing the case, he swore us in, confirmed/updated our information and then asked only 2 questions: how did you meet, what does your spouse do.
After we answered the questions, he said he would try to approve the case before the end of the week and wished us good luck :D

Due to COVID-19 restrictions everything in the interview was done digitally even though we still went to the USCIS office for the appointment. The only people we saw physically were the security guards at the door. My husband checked in for the appointment at a kiosk where he talked with someone through video chat. He was told to take me (USC spouse) and go to a room down the hallway. We walked into an office with a desk, chairs, and ipad set up. We had a video conference with the officer where she asked us questions from our K1 visa application and some details from our AOS application. Due to COVID-19 protocols we were told to place our supporting documents in an envelope and then in a box in the back of the room, and were told they would not be viewed for 72 hours. Because of this we didn't receive any indication about the AOS decision on the day of the interview, and had to wait almost a month before suddenly finding the Green Card in our mailbox.

We were very nervous about our interview however our IO made us feel comfortable and was really nice. There was almost no one there when we went on Friday afternoon. Interview was done on a tablet, lasted about 25 minutes, with 10 minutes of that time being him reviewing our case while he was muted on the tablet. He went through the application with us, asked for any additional documents we might want to submit, however he barely took anything additional from us other than our 2019 Tax Return, a couple of recent pictures and the I-693 Medical Exam (any documents we submitted though he told us he could not touch for 72 hours so they were placed in an envelope in a box in the room we were in). He asked me maybe 3 or 4 questions about how we met and such and he said he had what he needed. He told us it'd take up to 30 days to process our case. It's been almost 3 weeks though without an update. But overall it was a much better experience than I thought it'd be since these interviews ... read complete review
