Review Topic: Lifting Conditions

We believe due to the pandemic:
Our interview was waived
Our fingerprinting was waived
as of 10/04/2021 online USCIS status still shows "fingerprints were taken"
We're just waiting for the lifting of the conditions and will file the N-400 in January.

Review Topic: Adjustment of Status

Interview wasn't as long or hard as we expected. Our officer was really nice, casual, and even seemed a bit nervous herself.
After the swearing in, I had to answer basic questions on the I-485 form, to check if all the information was still correct and make any necessary adjustments. Our address had changed and they added my current employer to the form. This was just to establish a timeline, or so she said. It was actually kind of fun to go... read complete review

Review Topic: Lifting Conditions

The whole process was very smooth. Our interviewer was friendly. He explained that, since I didn't have an interview for AOS, this interview would cover the questions they would normally ask in that interview, as well as the questions they would normally ask for ROC.

The questions were mostly about the timeline of our relationship (he asked my husband some questions about that too), e.g. when did you meet and how; when did my husband propose; where were you living at each stage of the relationship; when and where did you get married; etc. He also asked questions about where we lived in the US (we've had 3 addresses) and when we lived in each property; he asked me to confirm my employment and the dates of each job; and he asked about the dates and purposes for each time I've ever entered the US. He also covered those mandatory questions where the answer to all/almost all would be no. The only fairly personal question was about kids - we don't have them, and he wanted to ... read complete review
