Our interview was scheduled for 7am (ouch!). We arrived at 6.45am, found on-street parking just opposite the building, went through the airport style but friendly security, checked in at the reception desk and were directed upstairs to the waiting room. We weren't called until 7.40am.
Rocky greeted us, and took us to his office where he had us both raise our right hands and take the oath. He asked for our passports and IDs, and as he was originally from the UK, we had a friendly chat about that, which put us at ease. He then asked me to confirm all the details from the I-485 form. He read out my phone number incorrectly which made me panic a bit, I corrected him and he said oh, yeah, sorry, I read it out wrong. He then asked my husband to confirm his details, and then asked for a copy of my husband's divorce certificate as that wasn't in the paperwork for some reason (we had submitted it). We gave him the original and a copy and he kept the copy.

We had a very positive experience. The interviewer was business-like, but quite friendly. Interview was fast and to the point.

April 2- Got an approval for AOS. Our appointment scheduled was 1:15 but did not started on time. We waited till 2:00 and we were called by the IO. It took about 7-10 minutes interview. Pretty quick and easy.. The I On did not look at my files I brought. He was just looking at the packet we sent when we applied our AOS. High 5 for the local USCIS Portland. He explained the next process for getting 10-year green card and timing for application of N-100 if I wanted to become citizen.

The whole process went with out any problems. My wife and I got there in time for the interview. We was checked at security and told to take a seat up stairs and our name will be called. We waited for about 20 minutes before this gentleman called us through. We went to his office and sat down. He got out the file and started asking us some questions. Have i every taken part in a terrorist act or have i ever lied to the US Government. Obviously my answer was no! Then he asked us about our wedding, where was it and how did it go etc followed by did you have a honeymoon. We told him about the wedding and the honeymoon whilst he marked his paper and shuffled through his file. He then said that your visa has been approved, it was all over in 10 mins javascript:emoticon(''). He didnt even want to see any paper work that i prepared, it took me weeks to collate it and even printed off a copy of the originals, but no he didnt want any of it. I suppose being told my visa was... read complete review

We arrived 30 minutes prior to our scheduled appointment. After waiting a bit, our names were called.
After walking into the officer's office, we were sworn in. The officer asked my husband the yes/no questions from the I-485. From there, she asked us about how we met, when we decided to start the process, when we were married, etc.
She asked if we had any information we'd like to add to our file. Well, I came prepared with a ton of paperwork and was happy to hand off most of it! Copies of our bank statements, phone bills, insurance verification, lease for our home, and a few more photos taken since our wedding.
The officer approved my husband's adjustment of status and then informed him about the removal of conditions process.
In all, the interview took about 20 minutes.
