Appointment time was today @ 1055. Like others have written, it's located on the S/W corner of the old Park Central Mall ( from you old timers who remember it ) Not hard to find.
The security guys are friendly and helpful and pleasant to deal with.
I was expecting a large room, it's not and it was packed!
We took seats at 1035.
Interesting people watching.. some dressed business casual, others in T-shirts and shorts.
People in, people out..some smiling and giving a thumbs up and others not so happy and bee lining for the elevator. Some in for 20 minutes, a few longer and some for just a few minutes... observed lots of photo albums.
Called in at 1135..not too bad considering how many people were there.
Officer Wanger had the pleasure of enjoying our company this morning.
He informed us that we were there on our own accord and could leave at any time..asked us to stand, raise right hand and affirm to tell the truth.. normal... read complete review

Excellent experience.
To find the place: not fun. The appointment was on Central Avenue, Phoenix, but not at the main USCIS building, the one we went before for random questions. This place was a little bit tricky to find, located in a commercial area, between a Starbuck and a Copy Center, surrounded by parking lots. I'm glad I checked not only Google Map - no USCIS listed at that address - but also the boards around the web. (See here: http://britishexpats.com/forum/showthread.php?t=604043)
To park, easy: Lots of parking space. We took an elevator to the second floor, didn't see anybody at this point. The elevator's door open directly to the USCIS security check. We were, my wife and I, welcomed very nicely by two officers, with jokes and smiles. Very very nice guys, especially when the stress level is quite high under your skin. They are probably aware of that.
The leng... read complete review

Our interview was scheduled for 10:55am in phoenix AZ. We showed up at 10:00 and my husband went inside to make sure it was the right building. The security officer told him to come back at 10:30 because they were busy. We both went in at 10:30. When we opened the door all that was there was an elevator. We took the elevator up to the 2nd floor and it opened up to a security guard. We handed the security officer our appointment letter and Ids. He made my husband empty his pockets and take off his belt. He looked through my purse and had me walk through the metal detector. Another security officer used the wand on me to check for metal. Then my husband went through the metal detector and we had a seat. The security officer turned in the appointment letter for us.
About 10 minutes later a guy called my husbands name and walked us back to his office. He asked us to sit down and show him our ID's. Then he asked us to stand up and swear to tell the truth and told us we were being vid... read complete review

We arrived at Phoenix office 45 minutes early and were told to come back at exactly scheduled appointment time as they were back logged with people. At 55 minutes after appointment time we were taken in for interview with Senior Inspector-Supervisor for the Phoenix office. He definitely had an intimidating presence and made it very clear that this was an important interview. I was glad that we had dressed professionally. After signing that we agreed to proceed without an attorney and swearing in he asked each of us basic questions with addresses. numbers, personal details, what we do for professions, how we met, etc. the list of clear questions regarding illegal activity etc., poe details as to what city and date, then requested photo album for a quick browse through with a few questions regarding who was in the photos with us on a couple of wedding shots. He asked no questions about when, why or how we decided to marry etc. in USA. Last request was for documents showing that we live t... read complete review

I better write this down before I forget.
So as other people have written, it is not easily visible to find this place. Just find Starbucks and walk along side the parking lot west and you'll see it in like 400 or so feet.
The security guys working there are some of the nicest government employees I have ever met (even from among the non-government employees). The were super friendly and courteous, they even joked with us (even after we were done with them). Remember, mace on a key-chain is not allowed, nor are cameras. You're ok if your phone has a camera, but point and shoots are not allowed.
We brought more documentation than I would like to mention. I just found everything in sight with both of our names on it, and of which I thought was remotely relevant. She ended up not even looking at it, but I have a feeling it is because she was able to see we were extremely well prepared. We had to wait for about an hour and we didn't see anybody ... read complete review
