Had our combo interview today. Lifting of conditions and naturalization. The officer was very nice and friendly. At first, only I went inside, my spouse was not allowed. I waited in the lobby until the officer came to ask me to bring my spouse inside so we can have the combo interview.
Apparently, it's a pretty common occurrence that the officer has to turn people away that thought that they didn't have to bring their spouse to the interview. I actually witnessed this happening.
The i751 interview was pretty quick. The naturalization occurred as expected with the tests and questions. They were very specific though regarding the Civic Test answers, for example, a USC has the right "To vote in federal elections", not just "to vote". So while studying make sure to memorize the specific answers that they give.

Quick and painless. Interview was about 15 minutes. She asked how we met and after seeing the wedding photo's and some 'aaaw cute' going over them just some simple questions like phonenumber address etc. She never asked any official documents, she just kept the pictures and a copy of my employment contract. Very pleasant interview 😃

Interview went great, got approved! Arrived 5 minutes before our appointment went through the airport style security and sat in the waiting room for about 5/10 minutes we had our 2 month old baby with us too in his stroller which wasn't a problem also. They asked us questions about our relationship how it started etc. I gave them my sealed medical documentation which they said they didn't need, they went off of the k1 visa medical before I arrived in the UK so wasted money on that but better to have and not need it than vice versa. Didn't ask for any original documents just birth certificate for our newborn son and was approved pretty quick interview 15/20 minutes now waiting for the green card in the mail.
