The appointment was at 11:30. We got there early and weren't called to be interviewed until a little after 12. We had IO Knox. She was very very thorough and went through each and every question on our I-485. She took my original tax return and W2s and gave us no option to photocopy and get the originals back. She also took photos so make sure you have copies at home. Our lawyer accompanied us on the interview and said that it was one of the most bizarre interviews she had ever been a part of. She said we did great answering all her questions, but maybe IO Knox was just in a bad mood.

We had our interview in the morning. We got into the building within 2 minutes and were about 40 minutes early. You sit down in a general waiting area until they call your time and give you the door number you have to sit by on the second floor.
After waiting upstairs for about an hour we got called in for the interview. It was pretty quick, maybe 20-30 minutes. The officer was pretty stern, but he has to be. He was nice tho. He asked my husband a few questions (how did you meet, what are her parents name, where do they live etc) and then went over the yes/no questions with me. After that he asked me if I had any new documentation I wanted to add to the file, so I gave him all the shared bills, cc's etc. I also informed him that I wrote down the wrong marriage date on the I-485 by accident, he said he would go over the paperwork anyway and would correct it.
Afterwards he told us he usually makes a decision in 4-6 weeks, so I was a little disappointed th... read complete review

So, today was our Green Card Interview at the Philadelphia Field Office. I can truly say that for it to take as long as it did to get to this point from our filing date, this was the most QUICKEST and EASIEST part of the whole process!!!
Our interview was scheduled for 10:45am, we arrived at 10:15-10:20am. There's a parking lot across the street from the building that has a flat rate of $20 for all day parking which sucked because we weren't going to be there all day but it was either that or having my husband to keep running downstairs to feed the meter. Anyway, we went through security (cell phones are allowed inside the building just have to keep them on silent) but no food or drink (glad I had a big breakfast as I'm almost 9 months pregnant and would have been starving and grouchy if I didn't). Checked in at the front desk with the interview notice and driver's licenses, and was told to go to the 2nd floor and sit close to door 3.
It was a lot of... read complete review

Interview went much faster and easier than expected. I arrived just on time, went through the security line and I didn't wait long before my name was called. The interviewer was a lady...very pleasant. First she asked us for our IDs (passport and government issued), then she asked us a heap of questions about our relationship, no usual questions. How, when and where we met, when he proposed, when and where we got married, when we moved, whether I was working in the US(which I am not currently, but I did get an employment parole card allowing me to travel/work if I wanted to until I receive my GC). She also went through all the criminal questions they ask on the DS160 with me... The entire time, my husband(petitioner) was in the same room with me, we were never separated thankfully.
Then she requested for copies of my Evidence of marriage and my husband's most recent tax return. I had taken my whole boat load of paperwork with me... everything I ever filed and more.... s... read complete review
