In short:
- no lines
- got seen for interview early
- got approved, and immediately scheduled for an oath ceremony taking place 3 days later
- nice office (as these offices go)
This was my first time at the 'new' office for Orlando, but I guess it's been open for about a year now. If you look for it on Google Maps, you won't see it because it's too new, but it's at the corner of Corporate Centre Blvd and Judge Rd. It's a really big building- purpose built and much bigger than the old Orlando office.
My appointment was for 9am but I got there early since I hadn't known how long it would take to get there. The security let me in anyway even though I was more than the '30 minutes' early that it specifies in the letter. The place was relatively busy but I didn't have to wait to go in.
Once in, you have to drop off the letter at 'Window 9' and wait in the big waiting area (which feels a lot like an airport wai... read complete review

We had a wonderful experience with the ENTIRE immigration process, and our local office was no exception.
The building is very nice, clean, and everyone was very friendly and professional.
We arrived a half hour early our appointment was at 11:15a. We waited till close to 1p but this office was extremely busy, and the time went by super fast.
Our IO came out called my husbands name and it was our time to shine! She led us down a hallway to her office, before we sat she asked us to take an oath, then ask us to be seated. She began asking us questions from the G325A, had me verify my things, had my husband verify his information and right in the middle she threw in "when is your wifes birthday?" which of course he knew (he would have gotten a swift kick had he not known LOL). She went over the I-485, ask my husband had he ever sold or traffic'd drugs, are you involved in terrorist activity, of course all our answers were NO. She wanted to... read complete review

I just wanted to share my experience with everyone. We had our interview in Orlando, FL yesterday. We were approved & received an email at 5pm stating, "Card Production Ordered." kicking.gif kicking.gif
Our interview was at 7:30am & we got there @ 7:00am. We were allowed in the building @ 7:15am and went through the security check. We were instructed to go to the window in the waiting area and submit our interview letter there. We did exactly that & waited for about 1/2 hour before the immigration officer called out our name. Once seated in her office, we were instructed to take an oath.
She began going through our case file and casually chatting, not too overtly friendly. She asked us questions directly from the I-130 application. The questions were about our names, address change, birth date & place, etc. The only personal question asked was How did we meet? We had a disagreement with a technicality in our case. This scared us like our process is going t... read complete review

Other than waiting in the lobby for an hour, the interview was quick and painless.

So we had our interview this morning, and all quite pleasant.
Scheduled for 8:30am, we arrived at 8:00am, breezed through security and check-in and waited for about 20 mins.
The building is brand new and all one level, so very welcoming - the waiting area is comfortable.
We were called in and taken to a regular office. We sat opposite the interviewer and he swore us in. He took copies of our drivers licenses and then came back into the office and he started looking through the file.
First thing he did was to ask my wife (petitioner) questions from the I-130 - just verifying information. He then asked me if I knew my wife's birthdate, and asked her the same about me.
He then went through the I-485 and verified my information, asking me and my wife about the company I work for, how we met, when I arrived in the US etc... He definitely didn't seem that interested in the answers to the questions but more our intera... read complete review
