Our appointment was for 10:30am, and we arrived thirty minutes ahead of time. No cell phones are allowed in the building, so we left those in our vehicle.
When you walk in, you will immediately see a security station to your right, where you must remove your shoes, belt and toss all exterior items (paperwork, wallets, etc) into bins for them to scan. They check your passports as ID, check the appointment letter and sent you through a quick body scan.
We were told to bring our appointment letter to window 9 so that they would note our arrival. We did so, and were told to listen for our name to be called. After sitting for maybe about ten minutes, I (non-US citizen) was called by my first and middle name. We followed the interviewer through a heavy wooden door and down the hallway to his office. He told us to have a seat, asked for my passport and for both of our driver's licenses.
Next, he opened up my big alien file, and I could see that bot... read complete review

Our interview was easy for me a lot scarier for my wife. When we were called our interviewer escorted us to his office, I attempted to introduce myself twice, both times he just had a strange look on his face and ignored me. Once we entered I decided to get down to business and handed him our evidence of marriage. The guy was very serious and you could tell he did not want to chit chat. He asked us how we met, why we decided to get married, our birthdays, He asked me her parents names. The entire time I could tell asking this guy any questions was probably not a good idea so we only spoke when he asked something. He mentioned our affidavit was not notarized so he tossed it back to us. Again we did not try to explain why it was not , we just stayed quite. Towards the end of the interview he asked us if we have anything else, then he asked us a second time "tell me why u got married again". At the end he told us to wait for his decision in the mail. We both thanked him and were on our way.... read complete review

We had a nice lady. We came with everything, except Me, The wife forgot the passports. She interviewed us and asked us to come back in 3 days with the passports. She wanted proof of bank accounts, car insurance, asked if simo had a job or was in school.Wanted to know who put money in the bank, I said I did for now untill Simo found a job. She asked where I worked, and how much money I made.
she asked to look at wedding photos, asked where we married. Took 2 pictures of simo and I. and one of Simo and me with my two sons. She gave no indication what she would do. She did read off the list of questions that the benificiary fills out on the papers He just verified what he originally answered,( she did this because I filed out the papers , because i had signed on the bottom that i filed them out. Then she had simo sign his name and date it. When we came back she went through the passports, said we were accepted and told us what to expect.in one year and 9 months, we file more ... read complete review

Arrived 15 minutes early for the appointment, which was at 0830. First we went through security which was a pain in the butt. Worse than airport security! After that, was told to take the appointment letter to window 9 which was at the far end of the building in the corner. Waited for 20 minutes and a lady came out and called her name. Went back to her office where she introduced herself. She was nice but very professional. She went over the entire N-400 application form, including when and where each of us was born, our current address. When she got to how many times I've been married, wanted to see the divorce papers, which my wife gave her, and she went over very thoroughly. Then she asked if we were still married or separated, and what proof she had that we lived together. She showed her a utility bill I included, the warranty deed to our house, and a letter from my sister in AK addressed to both of us. She then went over every question on the form. After that she signe... read complete review
