Arrived 30 minutes before scheduled appointment time and told to return in 20 minutes, returned and waited about 30 more minutes in the waiting area. Called by a nice interviewer and sworn in, asked for marriage license copy.. then asked about when my wife and when we met, her date of birth and other random questions about us. Melissa was asked similar questions, my mothers name when I got here, if any of us were married before.. etc. Asked if I knew my SSN which I quoted and displayed the card to the interviewer. Our appointment was for 8:30AM but we got there early. Everyone seemed to be called before us, even people who arrived much, much later. We finally got called at 9:00AM. The lady was very professional and started asking questions about where we met and why we chose to get married in Las Vegas. We mentioned that we had photos from the night we met and she started looking through our album. From this point in the interview she started to be very friendy. She asked for our IDs and insurance cards and took them away to photocopy. She also took the originals of some of our documents (although I did have copies made she took originals) which I never got back. At least I have copies for us! Then she stamped my passport. I am now a US resident!!!

Interview was no more than 10 minutes. Then she stamped my passport and told us that the card will come in the mail within a month. We are so relieved. It was such a breeze thank God. WoooHooo!
