Interview for AOS from TN to permanent residency for my wife. We were married Aug 2019 and submitted the files mid-September and received the interview notice in December for interview date 3rd week of January. We filled out the forms and compiled everything ourselves based on the instructions included with the forms (and of course visajourney).
10:30AM Appointment at Manhattan Federal Plaza office. Be aware that google maps might direct you to the wrong side of the building, entrance on Duane street is employee only. Process was very smooth. We were called in on time. Officer was very professional and respectful. He asked a few questions about how we met and decided to get married as well as the Y/N questions in the I-485. He took our additional evidence of bona fide marriage. Entire meeting was about 15 minutes. We were told he needed to review the application but did not foresee any problems and that we could expect a decision in 30 days. Three days (one business day) later status changed to “New Card Being Produced.†Overall excellent experience.
