Our interview was scheduled for a Saturday. We arrived 20 minutes before our appointment. The security team was great and allowed us in after we went through the checkpoint. Upstairs in the waiting room, we waited for another 30-40 minutes after which we were called in by our interviewer. She was very nice and easygoing. She walked us to her office where we had our interview. The interview went very smoothly. Overall a great experience - OH HI MARK!

Easy process. Arrived 15mins ahead of appointment time. Waited around 45mins and then we spent about 20-30 mins with the officer going over documents and answering questions. They were very easy to talk with and they said a final review of paperwork would happen that day. We received approval the next day and Green Card arrived in mail 6 days after that.

Very friendly and nice officer. The CIS office was way more organized than DMV.
We were probably there for less than 1 hour. Interview was about 10-15 mins. Security check is about 5 mins.

We waited approximately 21 months from submitting the application to receiving an interview.
The interview was scheduled for 8am, and we were not allowed to arrive more than 15 minutes early. We arrived exactly 15 minutes early, cleared security, checked in, and waited. At 8:45am our number was called and we were taken to a private office by our interviewing officer. She was polite and welcoming. When she realized my husband's English was not fluent, she asked if he would like a translator and wondered why the front desk check-in had not offered the option to us. We waited approximately 5-10 minutes on the phone until a Spanish translator was available and then after checking our identifications she began the interview.
The interview lasted approximately 1 hour, and she asked many questions to each of us including some of the same questions we were already asked during the K-1 visa interview. She referenced the I-485 application throughout the whole interv... read complete review
