Appointment for 11:15, got there are 11, was called in at 11:05

IO was very professional and pleasant, cracked only 2 small smiles the entire time.
She swore us in, then asked for all originals. Passports, Birth certificates, SSN, EAD. She took the I-94 out of my passport and wrote in it that my AOS is pending. Turned to my husband and asked him my name, b-day, when we met, when we moved to the current address, where I lived before this address.
Asked me when I entered the US, if I left the US since.
Asked my husband if he met my parents, what are their first names, if I met his parents. Then asked me what my husbands full name, b-day, place of birth and parents' first names are.
Then she went through the Yes/No questions in the I-485.
Asked if we have any additional proof we want to submit. Refused pictures because I had already submitted some, and stopped me after a few documents saying that that was more than enou... read complete review

I'm British, born and bred, 5 yr green card holder and divorced after 4.5 years on marriage, Him US citizen, me British.
I saw a girl who came out before me and sneakily asked what her US history questions were as she waited for her oath letter, turns out I got different questions anyway : ) but i thought I'd just ask her anyway! I got the declaration of independence date mixed up due to nerves!! but got all the others correct. English is my first language and my ethnicity is Pakistani
Marriage + divorce was brought up onnce by the officer, 'Why did you guys get divorced' he asked politely. I said 'the relationship just really broke down as we we... read complete review

Ok so it was interview day. Our appointment was scheduled at 2:15 pm, we got there like around 12:00 pm. We went to the room and checked in and was told we were extra early and asked if we wanted to wait or return at the time of the interview. We opted to wait. After waiting for about 20 minutes my name was called and we were shown to another room to wait. At exactly 2:15 pm my name was called and I was ushered into a n office for the interview. My husband and I were sworn in and then asked to present original copies of both our birth certificates, marriage license all supporting evidence we brought. We took only 15 pictures with us and the IO was like is this all aren't you gonna bombard me with over 200 pictures. I thought to myself " oh, oh" but calmly replied " I think there is enough there to present a solid case". He looked through them and said " you are correct" and took 2 out of the bunch. He then told us he is going to ask us some questions and they will be directed to a spe... read complete review
