In and out in less than 10 minutes. We were asked whether we had ever been married before, whether we had children, and had to say each other's names and birthdays. My husband had to say our wedding date, then answer the long list of yes/no questions.
We handed in our additional evidence (mostly additional financial documents and pictures) and that was it. We got our approval the next day!

GARDEN CITY NY (Long Island)
This is our experience:
We arrived 1:45 PM for a 2 PM interview. You get scanned thru security and directed to a window like DMV. The lady took Tiff's appointment letter. Then you wait, we waited about a half hr, then they called about 10 people's names, and asked if anyone needed a translator. Then we all went upstairs. Then we waited another half hr or so. During the interview, she asked us for ID. Then she actually asked me more questions than she did Tiff. It started with my pedigree, then how we met. Where we met, what I do, have I ever been married, I am 15 yrs Tiff's senior, so there was a question directed at Tiff about how old I was when we met (To which Tiff answered wrong).
Tiff's questions were quite simple, when did you come to the USA, did you eve... read complete review

We arrived at Federal Plaza around 12:30 for our 1pm appointment. The place was dead. No line at security and maybe 8 people in the enormous waiting room. We were called in ahead of most of them around 1:15 by Officer Williams who did not crack a single smile until the very end. She also sat at a desk 3 feet away from us while asking us questions.
She asked for the marriage certificate and my (USC) citizenship proof first. Then she asked for all our marriage proof. I had separated my documents into financial, non-financial and travel docs so I handed over the financial stuff in a pile. I never got to give her the other docs. She asked for pictures and I gave her our album from which she took 3-4 photos. She also asked for my husband's birth certificate, EAD card and social security card. She questioned us for a while back and forth as she did this (and while she flipped through our file and checked things on her computer). The questions I remembered:
