The Immigration officer interviewing us was so courteous and respectful. She made us comfortable and went straight asking us questions about how we met, how long we dated, who proposed to whom and other domestic and direct questions. She requested for the joint documents showing our relationship, we gave her our life insurance policies documents, Bank statement and car insurance document. She requested for our joint lease agreement, we told her we didn't bring it because it contains only my spouse name because I had n SSN as at the time of signing the lease and our landlord refused to include my name nor issue any letter conforming my residency in the apartment. The IO did not ask for our Photos, despite the fact that we went there with loads of our Albums. The interview ended within 15 minutes, and officer told us we were good and will be approving the case as soon as the Name check is approved. It was a nice experience, though was nervous initially but the officer genuinely calmed ... read complete review

This is actually for Holtsville Long Island which is not listed. I have been there twice now for biometrics. Once to renew step daughters green card at 14 years old. And as an early walkin for husbands aos/ead/ap. Both times were very pleasant. No lines. No wait. Very easy to find and friendly staff.

Very quick and smooth interview with a very pleasant officer. I was vastly overprepared - she looked at our original documents and flicked through some photos, but already seemed convinced of our marriage before we had walked in! She asked each of us what the other's full name and birthday was and asked my husband, the USC, what my parents' names were.
There was roughly a 30 minute wait before we were called, but we were out around an hour after our appointment time.
My case was not approved on the spot but was held for review due to a conviction when I was a minor. Less than three hours later I received an email telling me my card was being produced, and a few hours after that the status changed to I-485 and I-130 approved!

We had our interview on March 18 at 1:40. We waited about 20 to 30 minutes and was called in by a nice lady. She swore us in, went through those questions and we joked around after and she was saying how some people say yes.She got interrupted by a phone call from her daughter's school and she told us that her daughter is in trouble. so we got off topic. back to the interview. She asked right away about how my parents are with the marriage (I'm indian and my husband is mexican), and she was pretty understanding of that after i told her not well and they havent met him yet. but they're coming around. she told him they will and not to worry. she asked him my parent's names, he knew. what the rent was. she asked him if he was on the lease and he said no i couldn't be becuase i didnt have a SS #, she was fine with that. then she asked me how we met, and if he was working at the time. and thats all. she went through our paperwork which wasnt much because we have been married less than a ye... read complete review
