Last July of 2017, my husband and I went on our interview with our lawyer in attendance.
Overall, I felt the experience went ok. The questions were direct and I answer most of them because my husband wasn't fluent in English.
Although we did ask for an interpreter, our interviewer only dialed in someone to interpret when she wanted to ask him questions directly.

We arrived and checked in ok on 9/22/2017. Sat in a room for sometime until we were called. The officer asked if our attorney accompanied us, he didn't. He was quite friendly and walked us through the protocol and started with how we met, where we lived and where my husband lived prior to us meeting but he focused on that question for so long (I couldn't tell why!). He went through our pictures, saved a few for himself and went over the usual Yes/No type of questions before he stood up to make copies of more documents. He told us our interview was over and that we would hear from them in the mail. He handed us a copy of the number slip photocopied onto the appointment letter we came in with. I was confused as he didn't give any indication of verbal approve or deny or further review. My husband thought the interview went well, Ii thought was focused on his past address and lost hold of any tangible information. He made a comment "did you know that she would be getting the 10yrs GC?" an... read complete review
