Garbage experience. I had my interview on 7/11/2023 in the afternoon. Passed my test and was given the N-652 at the end with "Congratulations! Your application has been recommended for approval." checked off. I was asked if I wanted to be naturalized that afternoon, to which I said "yes," and was escorted to the waiting room. We then went to another room and they collected my GC, and had me take the oath. Then, an HOUR later, the presiding officer told us that the "system was down," and half of us would not be getting naturalized that day. Our GCs were returned to us, and we were told we would receive a letter soon with an oath date. To date, I've called, sent a letter to the FO and contacted an agent via Emma, and to no avail. My online status still says "Interview was scheduled" and I have yet to receive any correspondence via mail. It's insane that I can't even get in touch with the field office to find out what's going on, which is likely that my file was forgotten about and is gat... read complete review

On the whole a very good experience. Had to wait outside until closer to our appointment time. The go through security was fairly swift and painless. Brief waiting time before being called for our interview. The interviewer was also generally very nice and straight to the point. Wasn't interrogating us, just asking questions.
Approved!

My interview was for 10:15 am. We arrived at 9:45 and sat in the car until 10.00. Went through security (nothing strange) then waited in the waiting room for "window one". I was called up within 2 mins and was asked to lower my mask and use the fingerprint scanner, then to "wait at the back of the room to be called". I was called in at 10:13, the officer took me back to an office that had a plastic partition between us, I did the oath and sat. Within a few seconds the civics test started and he said "correct" after each one. Then straight on to reading and writing test. Finally we went over the application to review any changes. The officer was professional, efficient and courteous. The officer never asked to see any of the items I had with me, (folder full). I was then asked if I wanted to come back for a 1:45 oath ceremony (to which I asked "what date?" after reading on forums that Montgomery did NOT do same day oaths. The officer laughed and said again "1:45" and then added "today"... read complete review

Interview appointment was Sept. 3, 2021. This office is almost 4 hours away, and we made it pretty much exactly at the 15 minutes before interview time that they allow people to enter the building. A guard was walking around outside and asked if we had an appointment, while my husband was trying to get the dog hair and lint off his shirt. I said yes, and the guard asked what time, and then said to go on in and started to walk off. He turned back quickly and added, "Just the one with the appointment." My husband went in and returned about 15 minutes later. He was asked for interview letter and ID to enter. They were not busy, and he was called for his interview pretty much right away.
They looked at his passport and green card and that was it. They asked for no other documentation. I would still bring it, just in case like we did.
He was given an English test, which was to read, "Who lives in the White House?" He was then asked to write the answer, "The pr... read complete review

Adjusted from K1 to temporary green card. Very smooth experience. In and out within 15 to 20 minutes (that’s with going through security too!!) Asked a few questions like when did we get married etc and the only evidence they took from me was my daughters birth certificate.
