My husband and I had our adjustment of status interview October 23,2013 at 9:00. The adjudicator didn't ask any questions just asked us How we met? The rest was general questions DOB, Our Names, Parent's Names flipped through our wedding pictures she complimented on that and than she took our insurances and lease and made copies of that and that was it we were approved. These people know if they are going to approve you or not before you sit in there chair also it seemed like what you send in with your I129F is also used as a guide for there decision as well because she said she saw a lot of phone calls between us and I didn't send that much documentation with the I485. So that was an indicator that she looked at the I129F since I front loaded it without a lot of documentation I believed that sealed the deal. As long you and your spouse are not a business marriage and it's a genuine one you will be fine!

Background: Did not front load our application with any bona fides, Adjusting from F1, had 3 prior EADs, 1 regular, 1 STEM extension, 1 current during AOS. Got married in Tampa and moved two weeks later to Fort Lauderdale
Location: Oakland Park, FL
Time: 9:45am
Duration: Approx: 10mins
We arrived about 35 mins early, parking was easy. Security was the typical airport sytle. We checked in and was sent to the lobby area to wait on my name to be called. It seemed as if we were the only couple that obeyed the rules and left our cell in the car. At about 9:50am we were called in by a pleasant older white lady and was ushered to her office. She asked us to sit and then asked for our ID's. IO: Why do you have different addresses? Wife answered she hasn't updated her ID as yet. Then she swore us in and started flipping through our file. IO: So how did you guys meet? I answered and my wife added at the end. IO: Which one of yo... read complete review

Our interview actually took place in the Oakland Park Field Office. We got an appointment was for Saturday June 29, 2013 at 7:55am. We arrived at 7:50am. I was so nervous that I couldnt sleep the night before. We thouht a Saturday interview was strange but sure enough there were about 5 cars in the parking lot. We parked close to the building and left our cellphones in the car.
We went through airport style security and were ushered in after presenting our letter to a gentleman at the door into a large waiting area on the left, there were several families waiting with kids, I thought maybe we should have brought our little one but when they started to run around and squeal, I thought naw we made the right decision. Several IO's came through the door calling the names of couples who had arrived before us. We waited for about 15 minutes but it felt like 15hrs. Finally a tall middle aged caucasian(not sure this matters) gentleman came to the door and called my name ... read complete review
