Manchester FO is very efficient. Overall AOS process took about 5 months more or less from the time we filed.
We were scheduled for 8:10am and we arrived at 7:30am. We had to wait in the parking lot and wait for the doors to open. Security was very cheerful and polite. Mobile phones are allowed but needs to be screened separately.
Interview was on the second floor. The whole place was empty. Aside from another couple who was there for biometrics appointment, no one else was there aside from employees. We waited in the seating area for about 10 mins then the IO came out and introduced himself. We were interviewed separately, the petitioner first then beneficiary.
Each interview lasted for about 15 mins. Oath then he asked for the basic information found on the forms. IO was friendly and very kind, even jokes around. It was a very light and easy conversation. Only the standard yes/no questions took time.
The officer only aske... read complete review

Biometrics appointment. We arrived 15 minutes early for our 8:00am appointment. The office opened exactly on time and we were let in with no problem.
Security was very friendly! Make sure to leave your cellphone behind. We were required to empty all our pockets and a couple of us had to take off our boots to go through. Nothing major and they explained it all and joked about things.
Then we were let into a room with chairs and gave the appointment letter and a piece of ID to the person up front. In exchange there was a simple form to fill out, give back then wait for your name to be called. My picture was taken and then the fingerprints.
I was in and out within 25 minutes. Lovely people there.

My Husband and I went for our joint interview for AOS. Overall, it was fairly painless. We arrived early and sat in the waiting room for around 25 mins. A IO called my name which both my husband and I stood. She did not do separate interviews.
We entered the office and she asked for a copy of our marriage certificate (apparently missing from file) also asked for IDs. She then stated she was going to run through our application. Asked questions such as “ When did we get legally married and whether our families attended?, What is my full legal name?, What other names have I used?, Date of birth, Where I live and if I have room mates? My husbands full legal name, his date of birth and where he lives. She the asked if I have a job and made a few notes. She finally went through all the yes and no questions at the end of the application. That was it, she said your green card will be mailed within 2-4 weeks.
In and out within 20 mins! I had prepared a ful... read complete review

We came for the interview of adjusting of status.
After waiting 20 minutes in the waiting area ( I was wondering if they would observe through camera, lol), a female official came out and asked my husband go in while I wait outside. She asked him a lot of questions and came back to ask me to go inside too.
Then she asked me to answer questions by myself and cannot talk to my husband while he needs to maintain silent.
Basically, she is trying to see if my answers are matching his answers.
The questions include basics of each other and some details of daily life, such as
- What plan of mobile network provider?
- How many chairs do you have at home?
- What's the color of shower curtains?
Generally our answers are the same but with one or two different. I believe it's totally fine if you are real relationship.
I can see the official is very responsible and smart, she approve us after all these questi... read complete review

Biometrics
My appointment was March 24th and googled early walkins but previous attempts by other VJers showed that this office did not like early walkins.
The appointment was simple I went through security and walked into a room of chairs where I filled out a form and handed it back with my appointment letter and ID if you changed your last name make sure you have and ID or marriage certificate with that on it. I waited a couple minutes and was then called for fingerprints a picture and a signature !
My appointment was for 9:00am but I showed up at 8:30 ish and they took me right away was out before 9:00!!
