My appointment was at 9:20 this morning, we, of course arrived earlier (ah whole hour to be exact). we checked in at the window, they asked for my passport and my husbands ID. We sat down to wait there there were maybe 10 more people all together. one couple was older then us and the woman and her daughter were from some Asian country, then there was another couple - same thing. they were called in first and were separated, as was the other couple. about 20 minutes before my scheduled time my husband and i were both called in together. the lady that called us seemed kinda scary at first because i overheard her talking to a man from, what looked like, Tibet and she didn't sound nice at all.
Anyways, we went into her office, didn't get separated, she swore us in and started asking us simple basic questions like:"how did you start dating? when did you start living together, how's living with in-laws working out?", nothing out of the ordinary. both my husband and i expected waaaaaay... read complete review

We arrived at least 30 minutes before out scheduled time. They were able to see us before then. Only waited about 10minutes. We were all called in (wife husband and lawyer) together. He asked to see our passports and tot ell him our story. My husband got very confused about all our travelling back and forth so I tried to help him out here and there. Interviewer was extremely nice and took part in the conversation. He said our evidence was very clear and congratulations. He said we should be getting my permanent resident card in 2-3weeks.
I was surprised how easy it was, I was expecting to be interviewed by someone else when we walked out of his office but our lawyer informed me that was it.

went extremely well. the IO was very nice. treated us with respect and was patient and kind. the interview took an hour and Brad (USC) was interviewed first and then I was called in to join them. we came out smiling and trying hard not to dance. javascript:emoticon('')
