The interview was short and sweet and we felt assured that we would be hearing from them soon after. It's now been over 120 days since that AOS interview and we are still waiting.

Had our interview on December 15. K3 visa AOS. Officer running behind schedule, but when he got to us he was quick. We brought along a professional translator since I read that a spouse often times cannot act as translator. We brought our 8 month old son along and the officer was surprised we brought a translator - I guess he thought this was merely procedural and didn't need to inquire further about our relationship, etc.
So once we got to his office, he asked the basic biographical questions: offical name, current address, telephone number, and read down the list of questions on the AOS form (are you a terrorist, have you ever supported a communist gov't, etc.).
He approved us within 15 minutes. An easy, smooth process. As always, if you have nothing to hide, there's nothing to worry about.
Good luck.

Was interviewed by a nice lady. After swearing us in she asked a few basic questions to my wife, what's your name, DOB, address, been arrested? Then asked to see joint account stuff. Looked it over and typed up something and said "congrats, you're approved". Took some 8 minutes max. Very easy experience.

(the parking was at sublevels) turned the wrong way! good thing we asked the handy policeman that was taking his break.
he pointed us the right way and off we go.... cant run now.. my wife is preggy...
crossing the street. we were presented with two entryways. which way do we go??? the gu... read complete review
