A rather pleasant govt experience. Even w/ security only took about 10 mins...with rescans.
Greeted kindly by security. Looked around and a gal waved us over. She was too softspoken and hard for me to even understand her. We filled out a form, even though they dont even keep it and I think everything is mostly in the barcode scan but whatever.
They take 4 fingers / time and then thumbs but my wife has a few skinny round fingers so they had to do the roll on those.
We made sure she lotioned up the past few days....thanks @Merrytooth.
Also, since everyone here is always trying to get away with the least possible. Be sure to bring ur marriage cert if you name changed.
Back to waiting....

Monday morning was our interview, traffic was worse than anticipated so we got there at 8am for an 8:15 appt; we were on time but I'm paranoid about time so I always try to be someone at least 30 minutes early. So walking in we were greeted by security, and they were so nice. They could see I was nervous and told me to just relax and smile. We went to the desk and turned in our paper and were told to wait until an officer called us. We sat down a couple minutes and were called back by a gentleman (I've already forgotten his name). He took us to an office and had us swear in and then pulled out our file. One side had all our papers we had sent in and the other side was a checklist, it looked to be fully complete. I had sent in a lot of proof, but brought in more pictures from our family vacation, medical documents, joint accounts that we opened once he got his ss number etc. He started by asking my husband basic questions, name, address, etc to compare it to the applications; then he as... read complete review

I'll start with saying that the office moved to a new location about 6 months ago.so if you haven't been there in a while, make sure you don't drive to the old location (which is a deportation facility now) especially if you are short on time. They are along i29 now and can be seen from the interstate. The new office is nice, bright and huge.
They have the friendliest staff. Starting from security. Every one is very helpful, respectful and nice. I had only been to the uscis office for biometrics before (3 times) and had my first interview 2 days ago. The officer i had was a young guy. He was not asking any questions other than the questions from the application and of course the test. Oh he also asked how to pronounce "Belarusian" right lol He was very nice and friendly. No intimidation whatsoever like i hear other offices have. I spent 25 minutes all togetherin the building, from the m9ment i entered the office to the moment i left.
Very positive experience!
