Reached about 30 minutes in advance. Was called in for an interview 15 minutes ahead of time. Interview went on for about 30 minutes. Straightforward questions were asked. Most of the questions were directed towards the petitioner ( my wife). Questions were on the lines of where we met. Have we lived together before (we both went to school in Texas and then moved to Indiana). Asked our addresses, phone numbers, date of birth etc. Asked me about when I would be completing my Phd and when wife would finish her pharmacy school. Chuckled saying that we are just two broke students. Asked me a bunch of yes/no questions from i-485. One blunder was that we only took the first page of the joint account statements (Please take all the pages). The officer told me she would not have accepted the application if I had not turned in the proof of our travel together abroad. Asked us to get all the photos out of our album and turn it in. To our surprise we were called in together where people before us were getting called in separate from their spouses for interview. We took all our evidence however IO only looked at few things because I guess we gave off the vibe that we did actually belong together. She said she would've approved us but we got scheduled before his fingerprints were cleared so would have to wait until that occurs. IO was very nice and young.

Our AOS Interview Experience
OUR Interview was at 11:45, we got there 11:20 got a parking place right of hand.We went in and had to go up to the 10th floor ( in Indianapolis ).
we went thru Airport like Security check and was advised to go to the Registration Desk.There was a tall Dark stern Officer whom took my interview Letter and told me to be seated . So we sat there and watched all other people waiting and coming in, there were a bunch. My Husband said Look there is a sign that says no cell phones or food/Drink allowed in the waiting area, but guess what at least 10 out of ruffly 40 were on their cell phones and one was eating donuts and drinking water, unreal no Respect.. Anyways we waited about 20 minutes then an officer in her 40`s came out and called my name.
