Process was quick and orderly once you actually make it inside of the facility.
Very short wait to get biometrics completed, 5 mins or so.
Very short wait to get in to see the Immigration Agent , 5 mins or so.
Agent was friendly and allowed me to join my wife, the applicant.
Agent asked my wife if she'd been studying for her civics test, which she had.
After about 15 questions or so, Agent informed my wife she had passed her test.
I mentioned that we had two outstanding I-130's for her minor children, and we had requested an expedite due to one of them potentially aging out soon. The Agent took their receipt numbers, said she would pull their files and assign them to her and she would approve them. By the early the next day we got confirmation that both I-130's and her N-400 had been approved.

Interview was straightforward. Officer asked about my employment and my wife's employment, asked the yes and no questions. He did a background check and approved me on the spot. He did not request any other documents and or pictures.

Had my adjustment of status interview in the Houston office on 22 Sept 2021. Our appointment was for 230pm.
We arrived 15 mins beforehand and got in, had to go through metal detectors. We had to wear masks and wore it the whole duration of our time there. We were asked to show our appointment letter several times at different points. Then we waited about 3 mins for biometrics. They took my fingerprints and a photo. I removed my mask only to get the photo taken and the officer was behind a big glass wall.
We then waited for 30 mins and were called in at 3pm (our appointment was 230pm). We had an older short, bald gentleman who looked and sounded Hispanic. He seemed stern but when we were escorted to his office we saw he was military, which explained his demeanour. Don’t let it put you off!
He had me put my bag on the chair, and showed me where to sit and where my husband had to sit. Before we sat he made us swe... read complete review
