My interview was 19nov2012 at 11:00a. I was in and out in 10 minutes. The male I/O was very professional, brief and precise. We were sworn to tell the truth bla bla bla.., verified our identities and documents, specifically checked marriage certificate only! (carry originals and copies. Asked if we are living together, wifes full names and DOBs, husbands full names and DOB, asked if we had a bank statement with or any joint account with both our names (we produced that), where we met and that was it. The IO never asked to see a single pic! I was APPROVED on the spot with the approval letter printed out and systems updated.
My advice is, be calm, dress professionally, and relax. It's a simple, normal, office environment, not intimidating at all. Be brief with your answers. Dont be too verbose or answer what you have not been asked or prolong your answers unecessarily. Put your documents in order before you go in, originals on one side and copies on the other. The office... read complete review

Locating this building is a huge task but we eventually found it after 4-5mins of driving around. Getting there, we were told not to bring any camera inside and my wife always go around with her camera, her reasons: I don’t know.funny.so I ended up taking the camera back into the car. My wife had submitted our interview letter to the guy at the counter before I came back. Our interview time was supposed to be 10am but we ended up waiting for almost 10-15mins before this young officer called my name. before then they have been coming out seeing and talking to other applicants and I noticed that most of this time they also took time to look around, check out the body language of people, don’t know how true this is but my instinct tells me they come out to check people out. We were ushered in into his office. A little bit pleasant initially but noticed his demeanor change immediately after swearing us under oath. He started with my wife application, the petitioner (I-130).the question... read complete review

Went very well. He went over all the info we had already submitted. He asked for pictures, how we met, how long we have been together. The whole thing lasted about 30 mins.

The whole interview was pretty quick and painless. The officer asked to look at our pictures, reviewed some information from our file and asked how we met. Took about 30 mins total and we were approved on the spot. I got my card in the mail in 5 days.
