Had my interview on May 23, 2013 at the Houston office and wanted to share my experience since this site helped me out by reading others' experiences. I need to state that I entered the US under the Visa Waiver Program as a minor over 15 years ago. I'm a British citizen and recently married my US citizen husband.
Our appt was at 9:30am and we arrived at about 9am. There were quite a number of people waiting but there seemed to be a lot of Immigration officers at work. We were called in at about 9:30am and were interviewed by a lady. Once we got to her office, she swore us in before we took our seats. Then she asked us for our driver's licenses and asked me for my passport.
She started off with the I-130 and directed most of the questions to my husband. She asked him to state his name, date of birth and address. Then she asked him to state my full name and date of birth. She then proceeded to ask him how we met and if I've ever been married. And when we fi... read complete review

I am a Swedish citizen and was adjusting my status from F-1 student visa after marrying my husband (USC). Our appointment was at 11am and we got there around 10.40am. Went through security and got a form to fill out asking for my basic information such as address and phone number etc. There weren't a lot of other people in the waiting area, probably about 5 other parties and I think we were the last ones to come in (at least during the time we were there).
We got called around 11.20am by a hispanic lady in her thirties. She showed us to her office and once we sat down she didn't even close the door (which I thought was a good sign because it made me feel like the interview was gonna be over with fast, but maybe that was just me overanalyzing, lol). Anyway, she swore us in and checked our ID's, then proceeded by asking us basic questions like confirming our address, birthdays, wedding date, if we have any kids etc. She then asked me how my husband and I met and when we st... read complete review

Very easy step.
Everybody was very nice. My girl's appointments were at 9:00 am and we were there at 8:45 am we filled out one form for each then they called them at 9:00 they took their finger prints and pictures. Then my appointment was at 10:00 am but since I was there earlier they called me at 9:15 am did the same but they requested for a signature.
There was no questions at all.
