We had our interview at 7:45 AM. We parked across the street, which has $12/day parking. Note, it only takes debit or credit cards, no cash.
The building was closed off till 7:30; There were 4 (couples/families) ahead of us. We were let in at 7:30 am and had to go through TSA-style security. Which involves taking off shoes, wallet, phones, any jewelry, watch, etc.
Once in, we checked in at the counter. The person at the counter asked for our Interview notice, Photos ID's and any new additional evidence we wish to submit. We had a lot of new evidence which was secured with top bound report cover, The personal told us to take the cover our (i.e no binders). We were told to wait and we will be called in soon.
After 10 minutes the officer called us in. The interview took around an hour. Very socially engaging. Light and happy. By the end, officer was laughing and telling jokes. It felt like we were were catching up with an old friend. The offic... read complete review

Our interview was very straightforward. We were asked mostly just to confirm information on Form I-485 and Form I-130. We submitted a lot of evidence (joint leases for 3 consecutive years, joint bank accounts, joint credit card, insurance/saving beneficiary, family photos with some short narrative on how we met and our wedding) but were never asked about these. We were asked to submit new evidence if we brought in any at check-in desk before the interview, but the IO didn't ask about these either.
We were handed a paper that said our case is held for review at the beginning of the interview, but were eventually told by the IO that USCIS will run background check and if nothing else came up then our case will be approved, and that we need to remember to file I-751 to remove conditions on my green card in 2 years.
A few hours after the interview, USICS status was changed to "Card being produced"!

My Husband had his AOS interview on 4/19/21 in Hartford, adjusting from a B-2 visa based on marriage. We arrived 20 minutes early, and were called for the interview 20 minutes after our time. When my husband's name was called, we both stood and the officer said, "no, just him" in a harsh tone. We looked at each other and I thought uh oh, this is not going to be easy or fun! My husband was in there about 40 minutes or so. The officer asked him all kinds of questions about how we met, went through all of the evidence we had, asked questions about the pictures and who was in them, where I work, what I do for a living, how we got to the interview, who drove, what color was the car, etc... He then called me in by myself - I was in there for maybe 15 minutes, he asked how we met, when my husband started living with me, what car we drove in to the interview, where I worked, and had me verify my signature on paperwork. He told my husband that his visitor's visa was now invalid, and told... read complete review

Interview was 4/19/21 at 7:45 am. We parked across the street in 2 hr metered parking. We went into the building, through security, and the room was the first on the left. At the counter they asked if we have any new documents to submit. We gave only the updated documents and copies only (pictures, bank statements, car insurance, health insurance, 401k info).
We were then called back to have the interview. Overall, we just went over the I-485 updating any information. She asked about where we lived, what I did for a living, how we paid the bills. In addition to the documents we provided the officer asked for the following;
- Birth Certificate, Passport, marriage certificate
- Spouses Drivers license
The interview really felt like a conversation and the officer was very kind, respectful, and felt like she wanted to know our story. At the end of the interview she said that she just needed her supervisors signature but then the card should be ... read complete review
