The officer was EXTREMELY nice. The interview was quick. The only paperwork asked for were some originals (which we didn't bring). Make sure you take birth certificates, etc.

The guy that interviewed us was really nice. He asked us for our Birth and Marriage Certificates, my student visa, our current income tax and if we had a rent agreement. We provided everything he asked for. Swore us in and didn't even ask my wife (the USC) anything. Asked the set of question regarding communism and prostitution and went ahead to approve us. PIECE OF CAKE!

The whole process took less than an hour. I was asked exactly the same as in I-485. Then, the officer asked my husband where we met and what he does for a living. Then, he said everything looked fine and explained what we would receive after this. That was pretty much it.

Up to now i haven't gotten my permanent resident card yet. I was interviewd at the Ins at the providence last year Jan.25, but then the officer was asking for our 2004 Income tax because all the Income Tax that we have submitted since the first time i applied was already expired so, we mailed the Income tax to them MAr.25 and up to now we haven't heard from them yet.
