We arrived about a half hour prior to our interview time. Went through security and checked in at the desk then was told to go to the large room on the right and wait for our name to be called. We sat for maybe 20 minutes and got called through so 10 minutes before our scheduled time! The lady interviewing us was extremely friendly and smiley. We took our oath and sat while she looked at a few documents. She asked us a few questions such as how we met, how long we'd known each other, then told my husband (us citizen) to hold tight because this was about me (the immigrant). She then looked through the I-485 and asked me pretty much all of the questions I had answered to see if they matched up. We gave her additional evidence such as photos, joint assets, letters of employment etc. Then she explained the process of what to expect next, whether it be approval, RFE, or denial. Then we all stood up and she walked us back to the waiting room. Altogether we were interviewed for about 30 minut... read complete review

We had our AOS interview in mid March 2017. On our interview date we went in and registered with the receptionist and went into the waiting room. We arrived about 20 minutes before our scheduled appointment time. We finally got called in about an hour after our scheduled appointment time. Our actual interview went very quickly. Maybe 10 minutes tops. We were asked to provide any proof of relationship we might want to add to our case. We provided a lot of photos, joint bank account and beneficiary statements from my work benefits showing her on them. They only asked a few questions, mostly verifying that what we put on the I-485 form was correct. My wife's birthdate and her parents names. The officer told us she would approve us but we needed to provide one missing test result from her medical that was done in Taiwan. Apparently there was a change in requirements for the medical that took place August 1st last year which was a month or so before her medical in Taiwan and the ... read complete review

Interview took about 30 minutes. The officer was very kind. She placed us under oath and just reviewed documents and forms. We needed results for Gonorrhea which were new Medical Requirements as of August 1st, 2017. So RFIE letter was printed and now we are just waiting for results to send to Civil Surgeon/Forward on to USCIS.
I-130 Petition for Alien Relative Approved on Spot the others will be approved once the Medical is updated. That's at least what our officer stated.
