Interview for immigration
* Security check
* Give the officer at the counter by the entry the interview notice letter
* Wait for them to call our name into the office
* The officer went through the agenda
* He asked us to take an oath
* At first he couldn’t find my I-130 information and thought we didn’t file it. He asked my husband if he filed it. My husband was so nervous, got panicked and said no lol but we actually did (probably because we moved from the consulate process and the files were scattered)
* He talked to me mostly, asking me to verify my name, dob, current address, previous addresses, parents’ names, country of birth, basically information on i-485, including the yes/no questions.
* He also asked me about how my husband and I met and where we had the marriage ceremony.
* He only asked my (US citizen) husband about his job and they talked about the time when they were in marine corps ... read complete review

Because of COVID-19 protocol, family were not invited into the building. Entire staff was very friendly and helpful. Interview was pleasant and office make me feel comfortable. Entire interview process lasted about 20 minutes from start to finish. Oath Ceremony was scheduled for the same day. Overall, it was a great experience

We had our interview on 21 April 2021. We arrived 30 minutes early to look for a parking spot. If you don't mind paid parking, there is a big parking garage right across the street, with numerous metered street parking spots. If you drive a block or two away, you will be able to find some free parking spots. We had to return to our car before we even got through security as we had pepper spray with us, so make sure you don't have anything that can be used as a weapon (nail clippers included) before you enter the building. We were directed to go to level 2 and handed our interview appointment letter to the officer at the door. Then we sat at the waiting area and within a few minutes, we were called into an interview room by the interviewing officer. I was first asked for our IDs and passports (I brought both mine and my USC spouse's) and then asked to hand over new pieces of evidence. I presented updated federal and state tax transcripts, updated bank transcript, proof of new joint car ... read complete review

The interview took 15-20 minutes.
The officer was very nice and friendly.
She looked through all of the documents we had prepared. We had everything in the exact order it was listed on the invitation.
She asked the questions from the application plus the standard "your name, his name, your DOB, his DOB, your place of birth, his place of birth).
My status changed to New Card is Being Produced the same day.
