Had our CR-1 application interview earlier this month, in the morning. It was smooth sailing.
We arrived earlier than our notice told us to, which you should definitely do. There can be a line outside the building for security. If there is one, hop in line even if you’re like an hour early.
Once inside we were met with professional, organized, and friendly staff. Our names were called shortly after we checked in and our officer asked basic questions about us, our relationship, asked for clarification on some ambiguity in the paperwork, etc. She was respectful and polite. Approved on the spot after about 10 minutes.

How many have met the British Secret Service murderer Wayne Couzens, on his travels to murder women and asians?
If you could give less than zero, Minus 1000 it would be. Belligerent, racist, arrogant floor staff who are more interested to argue with you than do the job they are paid to, to provoke you and lie to your face.
Apparently i was Mexican looking, so had come South through the border.
We felt treated with obsequious racism and ignorance by group of people who are unfit for the purposes they are employed, and do not uphold the right values, but pretend with some veiled arrogance, as if I was engaged in some antanagoge with the officers, who was more a self-appointed ruler than a Civil Servant. The staff here refused to help me get home for my ill and dying father (12 months before Covid) and they did it as they are evil, racist, liars, who are more interested in getting paid than actually using a brain cell.

Overall it was a very easy interview. The officer focused on our submitted pictures, went over the I-485, and then congratulated us on completed paperwork and said that as long as the final background checks were good we would receive our green card.

Immigration officer was very professional and friendly. She asked some personal background questions and asked for a couple extra documents that we produced. We are older, the same age, and we had already produced sufficient evidence of a bonafide marriage so this interview went smoothly. They didn't bother to separate us although we saw other couples being separated for part of their interviews.

It was a very casual conversation. The interviewing officer sworn us in, sat us down. Not going to say her name, well common decency I guess. Anyhow she was in her early 30s my guess, cant tell because of the mask, very pleasant personality and a happy gentle intelligent laugh.
I am gonna try to write down as many details as I can remember
Me - hubby/beneficiary , Wife - USC/petitioner, IO - interviewing officer
IO: "Would you like to submit any bonafide material"?
Me: blank expression looking at my wife
wife: “this is your interview so you can answer, don’t have to ask me everything" (laughingly)
IO: "I see who is the boss"
me: "well not always" (laughingly)
me: "yeah nothing has really changed from what we submitted, there is an auto insurance change since we sold our old car and bought 2 new"(handing her the new insurance card copies"
Me: “We subm... read complete review
