We had to wait for almost 3 hours, but the interviewing officer was nice. One of our forms was wrong, and she got us a new one so that we could fill it out on the spot.

Scheduled the interview on the Dallas district office website using their INFOPASS service. This apparently is part of the pilot program to do adjustment of status in 90 days or less - ours took 10 weeks. Service here was probably not as good as embassy in Bogota as far as the helpfulness of the people. Less respectful treatment. The security was tighter that an airport (I should know - I work at the airport). They would not let us bring our cell phones inside even turned off!!! They called us to the window for initial contact. The official literature I had read said specifically that they accept personal checks. When we got to the window they said "Sorry we don't and you have 15 minutes to come up with a $400 cashiers check or money order or you lose this appointment" !!!!!!! So I raced to a local convenience store and used my ATM card to get a money order and raced back. Then we waited maybe an hour. Interview was probably 10 minutes or so. General questions about the validity our re... read complete review

The officer we meet with was very helpful and kind. He went through all our paperwork and said everything looked in order. He asked questions about our relationship and family for about 10 minutes and said it was obvious that we were a very happy couple. He explained that if they could not process our case in 90 days we could apply for Advanced Parole and EAD and we would receive a letter. He wished luck and the interview was over.

DORA-Dallas District
DORA-District Office Rapid Adjudication Program for those covered by Dallas, El Paso, Oklahoma.
For those of you who fall under this program, you may opt to file your papers in person using INFOPASS. The program aims to provide the immigrant a green card in 90 days.
We were at the Dallas district office for our 10:15 appointment but was actually interviewed at 12:45. The immigration swore us both in then asked information that was written in my I-485, G325A and Affidavit of Support. She asked for evidence of our union. Pictures of the wedding-she took 3 of them to stick into the paperwork. Evidence of our relationship ( I showed a joint bank account statement). Then asked for any of the paperworks showing how we met, communication prior to our marriage.
My husband pointed out the redundancy of the whole thing and the officer replied that the National Visa Center is a separate dept from them so whatever pa... read complete review
