Wonderful interview experience. Arrived just in time for the interview to clear security at the federal building. I arrive with my wife and my lawyer and after clearing security and waited for about 20 minutes, a gentleman walked out and called our names. However, he requested for us to go in together but my lawyer for some reason stopped him in his tracks and said we should go one after the other javascript:emoticon(''). My wife was called in first and questioned and after about 5 or so minutes she was led out and I was called in. I was questioned about 10 minutes mainly on our relationship, how we met, where we met, our address, family, nothing too personal. After the questions the IO gave us a letter saying he is recommending approval for us.

Arrived around 30 minutes before a 9am N400 interview. By the standards of the other USCIS field offices I've visited, small, reasonably well organised office. Having made it through security, I saw multiple people walk through and not see that they were required to check in at the first window.
After getting through security and checking in, I sat for about 15 minutes before I was called back to my interview (about 10 minutes earlier than my invitation.) I was met by a very polite young officer, who was being shadowed by a far older officer who was training him. They really did a fantastic job of putting me at ease--the older officer chatted about the recent passing of Malcolm Young after they noted my Australian citizenship.
Moving through the actual formalities of the interview--I was asked to take the oath, and then confirmed the details of my application. At no point was I asked for any documentation of any kind.

Stressful day, we were separated from the start, individual interviews were low stress, the CO was very nice, very gracious. We were not immediately approved but received approval about a week later.
