Its been a week since my interview and oath in Charlotte. Since there so little information on the Charlotte location I figured I'd write it out properly for people searching in the future. Ill post this on the Charlotte office reviews as well.
I had an 8.25am interview, arrived an hour early as I had a 2 hour drive to get there and wasn't sure what Charlotte traffic would be like. The check in lady just laughed at me being there so early, but had no problem with me staying in the first waiting room. at 8.15am she called me up and had me go through to the "appointments" waiting room. There were a few families there with little ones, in both waiting rooms, I mention that as I've seen it asked a few times.
At 8.25 I was called by a friendly but professional IO. He took me back to the interview room. Had me sit down, then swear in, and then hand over my GC and drivers license.
He went trough the N400 yes/no questions really quickly. Without even look... read complete review

I had my Naturalization Interview at the Charlotte, NC location on 04/04/2016. I was scheduled for 8:25am. When I arrived I went through check in with my appointment letter and green card, then I was ask to remove my belt, watch, shoes etc.. I then went to the check in window and was given a number. I waited about 30 minutes before being called back. The officer (very nice) started a conversation with me and then went directly to the questions. I was ask six questions: 1.Who was the first President of the Us? -2. Who is the Governor of NC? -3. Name one of NC's Senators? -4. Name two National US Holidays? -5. Name one right only for US Citizens? -6. What movement tried to end racial discrimination? Then I was ask to read: In what month is President's Day in? I had to write the answer: February. Then we went over the yes and no questions on the N400. I passed all I had my Oath Ceremony on 04/05/2016. I'm a US Citizen

My husband and I arrived 30 minutes early at the USCIS office. We got inside the building. There was a security check at the entrance and security personel escorted us to the waiting area where they took my information and schedule. After that, one of the officers (at a window) told us to wait for a while and gave us a priority number.
People were being called and at last my turn! I walked to the officer and we greeted each other. She told us to follow her and we did. We arrived at her office and sat down after the pledge to tell the truth. She ask my name, DOB, address (same as my husband's). She asked how we met, evidence of marriage. We showed her our joint bank accounts, pictures, itineraries letter. After that she told us to wait for few days for the approval as she needs to review our I-601 waiver for vaccination. The officer was very understanding, nice, and professional.
Anyway, we went home after that and few days later my 1-... read complete review
