I was sick (and still is) during my interview and i think it helped! lol! It's not recommended but read on to find out why:

USCIS Charlotte
I live 15 mins away from the Service Center so we got there at a very convenient time before the aforementioned schedule. All our belongings were hand-checked and x-rayed thru the scanner machine. Security was a little too strict.They didnt allow my bottle of water in even after expressing my little reason for wanting to bring it in.No compassion whatsoever, so, warning, don't even bother bringing WATER in, moreso, FOOD! Needless to say, my hubby had to run back to the car to leave my bottle of water there. :sleepy:

Hello everybody!!
Well guys, all our efforts to get our stuff in order and all our fears we had about it finally paid off. As of today I am a conditional permanent resident!!!
Here's our experience in Charlotte:
My appointment was at 10:00 am. We left our hotel at around 8:30 because we weren't sure with Charlotte morning traffic how long it was going to take to drive from the Adam's Mark hotel to USCIS (it's only 8 miles). We arrived at Tyvola Centre Dr. at around 8:50! We decided to kill some time and have a cup of coffee and a biscuit at bojangles up the road. We finally arrived at USCIS at 9:35am. I had never been to the new Charlotte location, the building sure is a lot nicer than the old USCIS building on Woodlawn. We went in, and through the metal detector.
