I had my Lifting of Conditions interview in March, and I attended with my husband as required. We had hired a lawyer to help us through the process even though we didn't have a complicated case -we wanted the peace of mind.
We arrived 30 minutes early, but were told need to Check-in 20 minutes before the appointment time. (We drove all the way from RI, and parking was a pain, so I recommend you arrive with time if you don't know the area)
They took my fingerprints (I'm the beneficiary). We brought lots of updated bona fide: photos/credit card statements/banking statements/tax returns/letters addressed to both of us. However, the only paperwork we were asked for was the new mortgage deed and the latest year's tax returns. (I was a little sad because we made a real nice photoalbum with handwritten comments lol)
Only one question was asked and it was directed to both of us, they asked if we had any kids -which we don't, but that didn't seem lik... read complete review

Came in 30 minutes early, but was told need to Check-in 15 minutes before the appointment time.
For the lifting conditions interview (March 2022), I attended along with my wife (beneficiary). One interviewer asking both of us questions. Sometimes interviewer asked my wife only, sometimes asked me. I brought along tons of updated photos/credit card/banking statements/tax returns/new evidence that was new to the application between now and since it was first submitted in 2021 over a year ago. Very basic questions like, name, date of birth, birth location, residence address, and seeing if our response matched the application. What is your occupation? Are you employed? How long you live in that building? Any Recent travel? Where did you guys meet? What graduate degree was she studying for? What is the topic of her dissertation? Where are your parents located? Have you visited the native country recently? How long you live in US? Pretty generic questions.

The officer that was reviewing our case was a very friendly man. He took me in first asked me questions and then asked my wife questions as she was next to me.
The officer could see she was a little confused and luckily he spoke Portuguese and started asking her the questions in Portuguese after that the interview went smooth we even made a few jokes about my wife not knowing the geography of her own state in Brazil!! Overall a great process and we never felt uncomfortable!

My husband (USC) and I (applicant) just had our interview yesterday at Lawrence ASC.
It went smoothly. My husband was called in first with all the paperwork. He showed them the pictures we'd brought and the only documentation they asked him for was our mortgage deed. He was asked about half a dozen basic relationship questions.
Then I was called in, sworn in and asked a few dozen yes/no questions from the I-485. And then the same relationship questions. He then asked for I-693, which I handed over. There was some confusion about the validity of the medical. He didn't like that I'd done it in July 2020. He said it needed to be signed by USCIS within 60 days. I was shocked and said I thought it was good for 2 years. I also said that the deficiency notice says Do NOT mail it in. A fellow VJ member posted on forum that IO was mixed up on the policy. Regardless, the I-693 was accepted. And the IO stated that we'd be approved. We were in/out of the ASC within a... read complete review

I interviewed in Boston USCIS office 2/22/2021 for AOS based on marriage. I and my husband arrived early and went through the security check. We checked in 15min before our appointment time ( If you arrive earlier than that, you will need to wait for check in). We waited for about 70mins until we were called in. Interview was pretty quick and officer was professional. My husband and I were interviewed at the same time. The officer asked me questions first. (My name, date of birth, my parents name, Whether I have citizenship in any other country than my mother country, Do I have any children outside of US, My husband full name, Questions in I-495 Yes or no questions, Why I waited so long to file for AOS, why I quit my previous job). Then he asked me to sign I-485 and I-944 form. He then asked me for I-693 form which he looked at the spot. He then asked questions to my husband. (full name, date of birth, his parent's names, where he works, what kind of job it is) Then he asked about anyt... read complete review
