Staff were really friendly, the field office director came and gave a speech about how we should be expected to be treated and the mission of the uscis, made everyone feel a lot less nervous.
Woman who interviewed us did it separately and was extremely friendly asked us questions about our life but generally had a nice conversation with us.

Very smooth and uncomplicated naturalization interview experience in Boston this week, even in the middle of the government shut down.
Appointment was set for 7:45am, we arrived just a bit early and had no trouble getting through security and no request to turn cell phones off. I went along for support but I was not allowed in the room with him so I stayed nearby in the waiting room. He was called in at 8:30 and was out by 8:45.
He went in with quite a bit of paperwork (original marriage certificate, originals of my proof of citizenship, proof of residence + tax transcripts) but the officer didn't ask for any of it. He did want to see my husband's current passport and the passport he originally entered on (now expired), but didn't look through them for anything in particular. We had reported a speeding ticket on the N-400 and received a yellow RFE requesting that we bring additional documentation to the interview, but the officer didn't ask to see that ei... read complete review

The interview went great. My husband and I arrived 30 minutes earlier but it took a while to pass through security check when entered the building. The officer (who looks very young) called me (USC) to have the interview first and asked my hubby to wait outside. He asked simple questions about how/when/where we met and what we did for the first date. Also, he asked about where we live, where we got married, did our parents know that we married. The rest of the questions were; spouse DOB, birth place, family member...etc. from I-485 form. My interview ended in about 15-20 minutes then my husband had his interview which took about 30 minutes. The officer stamped approval on the application right after the interview finished. We got a piece of paper that we could expect the green card in 2 weeks - 2 months. But I received the text message about an hour after the interview that the green card is now in production. I think the card could have been sent to us in a week from now.
