I had a very good experience at the Baltimore office. They transferred to the Koppers building so it was no hassle for parking. It's a big square building surrounded by a parking lot. My husband and I arrived thirty minutes early and we were entertained about 15 minutes after our appointment time. The officer who interviewed us was very friendly and professional. She asked random questions from the form and how we met, and that was it. She told us to expect something in the mail, and she congratulated us. Overall, it was a very happy, relieving experience for both of us. Just remember to have everything ready and to pray. The staff in this office are very nice so just take a deep breath and don't worry too much.

I had my AOS interview yesterday and was approved.... Yay....
Here is my experience, a bit long but I am sure it will help out others who might be in the same boat as experiences posted by others on the forum helped me a lot:
Arrived at USCIS office at 1 PM with info-pass appointment for our 2 PM interview, as I didn't got the interview notice which is clear from my earlier posts. I made a good decision to get the info-pass in advance because I was not sure that I would receive that notice and also not sure on whether I would be allowed to enter the office without having one even though at the earlier info-pass appointment one of the officers told me that if god forbid you don't receive the notice then just walk in and say my name. And I was right when we arrived at the office, cleared the security there was reception where the guy was not convinced when I said that I came for my interview even though I didn't received the notice. I showed him my online status but he sai... read complete review

It was an appointment for 11:15am at the Fallon building in Baltimore, I got there around 11am , went through the whole search thing and was in the waiting room at around 11:07. My wife met me there straight from work, didn't have to get searched because she's a federal employee. We waited for what seemed hours goofing around until we got called around 12:15.
We got an older guy who seemed nice and was even trying to pronounce my name right on the way to his office. Getting there, he showed us to our seats and swore us in. Interview was painless, as he was just crosschecking what he had on file with us. When he couldn't find my i-94, i explained what happened there and he was fine with it. Then he asked where we met, which i had answered as concisely as possible too. He checked out all the evidence and he seemed to have an issue with my birth certificate. He put it aside and checked the rest out. He saw that i came in with an f-1 and we ended up talking about our similar beginn... read complete review

We were summoned for an interview for my husband's AOS (from K-1 visa). We'd spent quite a bit of time gathering all the documentation listed on the appointment letter, but the only things the officer asked to see were our IDs (passport, EAD, and driver's license for him; just driver's license for me). When I offered a notarized copy of our marriage license (as specified on the appointment letter), she said "we don't require certified copies anymore."
The agent explained to my husband that because of a mix-up with his name, two files had been created for him, so she didn't have the K-1 paperwork in front of her and would need to request it, which would cause a delay. He said that he wants to change his name, and she said that if he could get that done within the next month, she could get the new name put on his green card--otherwise he would need to get a new green card with the new name. Then she went over his AOS forms and confirmed the answers with him. I never reall... read complete review
