Overall a great experience!
---December 21, 2020---Our appointment was scheduled for 9:05AM, we arrived 30mins early and went through quick airport style check-in. We then walked upstairs > checked in > got a number and waited. The officer called us in at about 9:30. It was a short interview, he walked through the the application and talked to my husband (USC) 80% more than me.
Questions--
1. How we met? Where?
2. First date.
3. Our last 2 addresses.
4. My 1st child and citizenship of my ex
(did not ask for custody papers though).
5. Why is the child not in the US?
Went through the "YES/NO" on the I-485 and that honestly took the most time. We left at 10:30AM so it actually took a whole hour! IO checked the originals, changed our address to the correct one, scanned our Social Security Cards and took some additional evidence (3 work insurance documents) & 5-10 pictures from me. 2150 Park lake Dr. NE.
Pretty smooth.
Tons of parking spots .My interview is scheduled at 10:40. I entered the building about 15 minutes b4 that. After security check, you should turn right to check in. It took me about five minutes to get my documents verified, fingerprints and photo taken. Then you take the lift to 3rd. There is a hall right out of the lift, take a seat until your name called. I waited 5 minutes, a lady called me in. After pledge, I was told to write down "We have 100 senators". Then 6 questions were asked. I got all correct. The lady congrats me. Then some Form N400 questions. After that you get a paper result, just wait in the hall, somebody will call your name and give you a ceremony notice. You r done.

Interviewer was stern at first but my 5 year old daughter broke the tension a bit when she mentioned she was late for her school Christmas party (it was an 8 am appointment). She didn't want any extra evidence that they already had copies of, and asked me to remove all of my meticulous post it flags. She seemed to only look at our apartment lease and after going through the questions about criminality that are on the i485 she asked how we met and then approved us. USCIS website already says the card is being issued.
