went to Atlanta USCIS office on 26th jan with my USC spouse for AOS interview . check in at 3pm and then waited for almost half an hour then IO came out and took us to his office a very nice and respectful guy in his mid 50's ex military swore us in and then ask some yes/no questions check our DL's and told us to sit a part ( we're sitting too close ) took all the evidence photos and supporting documents like joint lease ,bank statements ,car insurance and then ask for my arrest record ( final disposition ) i only had the fax copies which are not certified and he told me that it may delay my case but then made a call to court clerk in midwest and surprisingly they respond just after two rings told them my case no and verify the disposition. well in the end told me that your'e case is approved and you will receive your card in 3 weeks. i realized its all about your body chemistry they judge you just by looking at you they've been doing it for so long that they have a gut feeling that wh... read complete review

This was by far the easiest interview i want to believe! Not only did we get there 10 mins late..but we only had about 16 blurry pics from our cell phones. Our number got called about 20 mins after our arrival..we got in the office a mid 50s looking black man...at first i was like ughhh this one is gonna be annoying..but turned out he was amazing, patient and very understanding!
When we got inside his office he swore us in and asked us how did we meet..my husband answered and he went through our file...checking EVERYTHING and stamping everything...checking our names and adress...he asked me for my mom's and dad's names..then he said im gonna go ahead and approve you. Congratulations you're now a US resident! In my head i was like "wtf?? THAT easy??" then he said we will receive the GC in 2 weeks if not just wait longer LOL we laughed and left. He did take our proof of bonafide which were joint lease joint insurance joint bank account. Took pics of our DLs and that was it we left... read complete review

Our interview was at 7:15 am. We Leave home around 6 am. And got there probably 6:40 am. Surprisely found that there were already 6-7 people waiting there. Probably 20 more people came after us before the gate open around 7 am. We were the second couple got interviewed. Everything was normal. we were quite relaxed. No harsh questions asked. Just some questions on the forms. Gave him some additional documents for joint bank account, heath , dental and car insurances. He could not find the USC birth certificate we submitted before in the folder. So I gave him another copy right way. He said there should be another file folder for me at another location. He just did not find it now. I showed him some of our photos. He took my I-94 from my passport and said I should receive my card in mail later.

Our appointment was for 1:45pm in the Atlanta, GA office on Parklake Dr today 6/28/11. Thank God we arrived an hour early because for some reason the line was wrapped around the building and took us about 30 mintues just to get to security. Security was exactly like airport security so be prepared to take off your shoes, belts, take out hair pins, empty your pockets etc...
We finally made it to a "check-in" area around 1:15pm at which point they instructed us to go to the second floor for our appt. After a quick potty break (is this TMI?? LOL) we were in the waiting room around 1:30pm. At 1:50pm we were called in your our interview.
The IO was very nice and friendly..even joking while walking back to his office. We were sworn in and he asked hubby the usual questions (have you ever been convicted of a crime, been arrested, sold drugs, plan to be a terrorist etc)..of course Vic said no to each one. The he asked us each our birth dates, where we were born an... read complete review
