Our interview experience was a rather pleasant one. After hearing many horror stories, it was a bit stressful walking inside the building and waiting for 2 hours to be called by an officer. But thank GOD we did not have any problem.

Had our AOS interview at 7:15am this morning and was approved on the spot. The interview was quick and painless we just confirmed all our information, and added our new born babies information. No questioning, just took our lease agreement and 1 bank statement, quick look at our photos and that was it. In for about 15mins, very laid back female officer. She even let us take our picture with her for the baby book we're making.

So just came back from interview, approved thank God. We had so much stuff that we took with us and the IO did not take one thing, except 1-94,from us.We got there a little b4 our time 7:15 am got called at 7:15 and we were out by 7:20 taps. Wejust could not believe it. So happy. Well here is what Happened. The IO (male) swore us in,asked our names,my 1-94 and passport. And went through the yes no questions. He also confirmed that we had two children and birth dates did not even ask for BCs. maybe becaz they were right there with us.The IO never smiled once though, maybe it was too early? He went through the questions so fast I had to ask him a couple of times what he said. Anyways he says "congratulations you are approved" we said thank you and left. Dear lord. Anyways I am done, left with my letter which says I should get GC in 30-90 days. Thanks to you all fellow VJer's hoping the best for you as well.

So guess what we got APPROVED!!!. The interview was really easy .. We got there around 12.40 the interview was at 1.. but they ended up calling us around 2pm.. the IO was really friendly and nice, first question on our way to his office was how long have we been married.. than he ask us about work and than we did the oath ha I think he was hungry because he even mentioned he wanted to go to lunch...he asked how did we met, how did my hubby proposed and more about work.. then he asked me if I have been back to Colombia I told him no, but trying to convince hubby to go with me.. they started joking about going to Colombia and how dangerous.. anyhow my hubby picking on me.. he went over the I485 and copies of bank statements car and renters insurance, some pictures and my i94.. so then he said you'll get your temporary Green card because we have only been married 8 months and explained the process .. said to look for it in the mail within 3 weeks asked if we had questions and that... read complete review
