So Faisal had his interview today and he was APPROVED!
From the beginning: Faisal's interview was at 8am. He arrived to the Consulate in Casablanca at 7:30am. He said there was a long line and it was raining. A security officer separated the people into different groups depending on what type of visa you were applying for. So, he gets to the front of the line and the security officer informed him that his computer bag was not allowed in. Fai thought he would be okay since it wasn't a backback but, the guy told him that he couldn't have this kind of bag either. So Faisal went over to a coffee shop and asked some random server to watch his bag (only in Morocco-LOLOL). Then he ran back and got back on the line. They let them into the consulate early because it was raining.
He went to the window and present his documents, his photos, his passport and appointment letter. They cleared him for entry. He began at security. They... read complete review

Smooth interview - waited four hours from appointment time, and was last one to be interviewed. First interviewed by a Moroccan woman, who asked just a few questions, one being why we postponed interview so many times (we did not - just once), then by American male - the papers already said approved on them. He asked about me, what I do for work, to describe what I like to create (I am an artist), if I have siblings, about my children, what he will do for work when he comes, what we will do for money, why we didn't get married in Morocco when we had 40 days to do it and that's about it. Told him to come back Thursday to pick up his visa and he did

Hey, all. Sorry if I am missing something; we haven't talked about the interview in a few days and it's a bit muddled still. I (fiancee, petitioner, USC) am writing the review based on what my fiance told me.
We arrived in Casa at 7:30 and were there in line by 7:45 for his 9:00 am appointment. There were already two lines across the street and they started letting people in from both lines in groups of five at about 8:00 am. He was called up at 8:15 and they made me leave. I spent a few hours at Beverly Ice and a few at Americana, just waiting. Longest 5 hours and 15 minutes of my life, and I wasn't the one who was interviewing!!
The procedure was standard and I don't want to re-hash what everyone else has already written about payment, etc.
When they collected the papers, we had organized everything in an accordion file but only gave what they asked for-- what was on the list and nothing else. They didn't ask for co-sponsors on the I-1... read complete review

my fiance arrive on time for his 9am K1 visa appointment.his experience was the same as everyone else as far as presenting the documents, paying the fees, getting finger printed. when he got there the room was full. he waited 5 and a half hours for the interview. he was the last person in the room. he had an American man CO (with green eyes) who was serious, but kind. he asked him all the usual questions: how we met, if i came to visit him, how many times, where was i born, what was my job, if he knew what my duties were on my job, what we liked to do together, what kind of books i like to read, if we ever read books together, and the name of one, if i was religious. these questions were specific to us, just to see if we were who we said we were. there were 3 questions that we didn't expect: did we have a joint bank account, did we make any large purchases when i was in morocco, and what he would do for health insurance when he comes here. he answered honestly about the health insuran... read complete review
