A very pleasant brief interview. Some waiting between submitting medical paperwork and fingerprinting and the actual interview, but you can leave the Consulate and return when they told you to.
Visa received the same day.
On the whole, a good experience!
Since I see no need that a 5min paperwork submitance and 5min fingerprinting and 5min interview should take up three and a half hours of my time (8:30am until approx 12:00h), I would give them a 4. However, knowing the challenges the applicants face at some consulates, and admiting the Consulate people were busy (but very polite), I rate this as a very good experience!

US embassy in Belgrade was very helpful, answered all of our questions quickly over email (before the interview). The interview did take several hours, from 8:30 to almost noon, but there was no weird questions or bad treatment. Except that it was too cold for my fiance with the air-conditioning blowing constantly

I arived in the Zagreb two days after and waited outside. Lady who works there on the immigrant Visas let me in very quikly. Shes nam is Milica an she is grate! I gave her all my documents and waited for the interviev. After five minutes they called my name. They ask me only couple of questions.
Where are you meet you fiance?
When did you meet?
What do you two have in comon?
I think that's it. Guy told me to seet down and whait for a while. He told me that he knows that I am not from Croatia and they wona do ewerthing to give me my Visa the sam day, but first they must resolve some problems with a computer system. They didn't made it and I was back for my Visa the next day. That next day I was in... read complete review

Consulate was closed for 2 moths. It opened on 1.Apr.2008. We missed the initial interview date, and waited for at least 2 months.
And, please update the country name. It is Serbia, not Yugoslavia.
All the best. And good luck!
