I accompanied my fiancee to the US consulate. To enter I had to have my passport which luckily I did.
You can print the appointment letter online. No need to be present at the address. Just contact the consulate on their online form and ask them. You will need two copies, one for the medical exam and one to enter the consulate.
I joined the interview window and they asked both of us simple questions. The interview was very quick, about 5-10mins compared to those before us. They just flipped quickly through the photos. We have been together for 2 years, I have been in Vietnam most of that time and we're both single-never married and no children.
Only documents needed were those listed on the appointment package from the Vietnam consulate. No need to bring a copy of the i129f, they already have that.

The CO then asked if the ring she was wearing was her engagement ring, she replied yes and told them about the ring, which is a moonstone. My fiance does not like diamonds.
From that point forward my finace said it was like 'talking to friends' and the CO seemed to be asking questions 'just for fun'. The CO and interpreter smiled a lot and only a... read complete review
