Thuy, Nguyen and I arrived around 7:00am for our 8:00am interview. We arrived to an already lengthy line of people but the wait wasn't long. We showed our passports and verification of appointment and after being searched with a wand were able to go inside. We went through another security checkpoint and at that time I was asked to wait on a bench as Thuy and Nguyen proceeded. Everyone was very friendly and the process seemed to go quickly for most. 1-3 questions were asked to each person and most were approved. The interviewer spoke with Thuy and Nguyen together and separately. Nguyen was asked about five questions and Thuy 8-10. I was called 👏🏻up and asked 10 questions. All questions seemed pretty straight forward and easy to answer with the exception of the questions r/t our same gender relationship.
After I answered my final question the interviewer requested that I call my fiancé and son back to the window. Once we were all present we were congratulated an... read complete review

Fiance said she had a wait 3 hours. It sounds like it was pretty packed. Lots of people there and their petitioners, unlike myself.
Had an American IO and a translator. Asked basic bio questions and asked about the fact we initially talked and then reconnected during our relationship. She explained that and they flipped through pictures and it was over. Approved. ~10mins. She mentioned many other girls got blue slips. We got white. I did not attend interview but would have if could have. Fiance mentioned the other gals mentioned their fiances met them numerous times up to 5x and were still blue slipped. Lots of blue slips. Not sure if she got any reasons from them. Will try to follow up later and update if possible.
We made sure she was very pleasant and cheerful. Fiance said the IO/Translator were pleasant as well and it seemed straight forward.

The Interviewer asked: about how we met, what do we have in common, when did we meet for the first time, did we have an engagement party, what day, how many times did we meet before, did you travel together.
Also, the Sponsor/Groom was not questioned by the interviewer.

Mostly nervous on the waiting part.
When called up for the interview. It was a breeze. CO asked simple questions:
Where will you plan to get married once arrived in the State?
What does your petitioner do for a living?
Can I see some pictures?
Afterward, CO 'congratulate' my fiance and hand her a white paper to fill out for visa postal service.

Entered the Consulate at 7:30. Usual routine of checking in and scanning appointment documents. Presented required documents and then waited for interview for K1 and K2 visa for son. Questions:
1) How did you meet?
2) Asked about divorces for both of us? Why? When?
3) How many times did I come to Vietnam?
4) Have you been to USA? How many times?
5) When did he propose? Did you have engagement party?
Asked her 11 year old son two questions. How many times did he meet me? What does he like about your future stepdad?
Took less than 3 hours. Some waiting but went faster than expected.
Happy Day
